Boot time is absurd with SSD

Got a wireless mouse? Initializing its USB receiver will slow down the desktop finalizing, as will AV apps. Know what's loading in your tray, and check you startup list in MS Config. As good as Win 7 is, you still have to take control of it if you want it optimized.
 
Do you have any idea how many interpretations are available for each 3 letter acronym?

Initializing extra USB devices can add to boot time. I added a cardreader/front USB 3.0 panel to my case, and boot time almost doubled.

The system has a Crucial M4 128GB on SATA 6 and it used to boot so fast that the swirly Windows 7 start-up animation got cut off almost immediately. Now it takes maybe 15 seconds longer.
