boot problems
Upon boot up, the bios screen comes up and says this :
BIOS checksum error

Detecting floppy drive A media...(dont have floppy installed)
INSERT SYSTEM DISK AND PRESS ENTER

can anyone tell me why its doing this, just started it

BIOS checksum error = Happens when the battery dies or it falls out. (You may need to buy a new battery if that one died.)
To fix
1. Go into bios and where it says TIME AND DATE change thoses to the current and that problem for "BIOS checksum error" is fixed.


2. Your second problem is dunno.

Your CMOS battery is bad or going bad. Replace it and reset the time and date...
Might even fix your second problem...

If replacing the battery doesn't fix it...
Try taking the A: drive out of your boot sequece in the BIOS or at least make it last. OTOH, just install a floppy. They come in handy.
