Boot problems with A7N8X....please help!

For some reason whenever I turn the computer on, the power comes on...the neon light lights up, the fans turn...but it doesn't even post. It doesn't beep and nothing comes up on the screen. Although, when I press the reset button when it doesn't post...it comes right up and runs like a champ. I have to say that I've never seen a problem like this. My first instinct would be that the 350 watt power supply isn't sufficient enough for my system. Can anyone give me some tips? My system is linked below. Thanks
 
I'm have a very similar problem with my A7N8X (non-Deluxe model). When I attempt to power it up, the fans spin, but thats all. No boot up or anything. My reset doesn't do anything either though. I have tried taking it out of the case, resetting the CMOS, but none of that works. Anyone have any suggestions?
 
Is it a good-quality 350W or a skimpy cut-rate one? The A7N8X often benefits from a BIOS update, if you haven't done that yet. I heard from Shockwave that his BIOS update got rid of a glitch that sounded similar to this. Download the BIOS, put the .BIN file on a blank, formatted, error-checked floppy, and reboot. At the POST screen, press Alt + F2 and the built-in BIOS-flash utility will start.
 
ok, I'll try to flash the bios and see if that works.

As for the powersupply, it is just a piece of junk 350 watt. I know I need a new one but it'll be a little while before I can get it. Let me know if there are any other ideas.
 
I have the exact same problem I think.

I've tried like 4 different BIOSes including the newest one. My powersupply is 450W and I think it's ok.

Ever fix this IBdaMac?
