how do you get to the boot menu on a sony va10 VGN-NR37G

Try everything. Tab, F8, del or F1 even F8 then if something will appear which let you choose where to run, in safemode or in normal, select normal enter, then F8 again.

try that and if i run it in safe mode and do that it wont work

Well if it wont work, you can see the boot menu in the BIOS. Find it there. You can see it.

On my Sony VAIO laptop the F2 key is used... Hope this helps you...
