Hi,

I dumped my floppy drive for a usb 6-in-1 flash drive. I'd like to be able to format an extra CF card to be bootable into DOS. The CF card looks like it can be formated as FAT32, which I did. Then I copied the sys files to the CF card. Rebooted & specified in the bios to boot from the usb device, but no-go.

Can I make this work or will I have to reinstall the floppy drive? :(

Thanks!

I notice my reply to you yesterday was removed. Is it against this forum's policy to refer someone to a specific poster on another forum?

That's strange, but I've had messages disappear with no reason on other forums before. I found some info. on the Internet by searching specifically for booting from CF (instead of my more generic search). I think I'll be able to implement this now. Thanks.
