Boot from CD via USB keyboard?

Ok so i have searched high and low for an answer to this. I am tryin to install Vista 64... I have CD/DVD drive set to primary boot. When it comes up to push any key to load from CD it will not recognize my keyboard at all .. i tried looking in the bios for legacy support turn on but dont see anything about that or USB support. I am using an IP35-PRO if it helps you any....

Id rather not have to search a crap ton of boxes for a measly PS2 adapter... can anyone help?

try a different USB port. I have no issues with my system and I always use a USB keyboard.

there should be a usb setting in your bios, using a usb keyboard also with no problems, it could be the keyboard, esp if its wireless.

Mine is wireless and I don't have any issues.

I have had issues before where the usb keyboard would be recognized at post and would allow me to get into BIOS, but when Windows screen came up, the usb keyboard was no longer recognized. Simply changing ports solved this.

problem solved finally found what i needed deep within the bios... In my search for a PS2 adapter i came across my ziploc bag with my computer information books in it. Finally found where to set it to have USB support about 4-5 tiers in which is why i couldnt find it.
