Boot Disk Failure

Howdy,

I'm not familiar with what the above error usually means but here's what happened. I'm trying to create a floppy disk to use to make a bootable CD/DVD.

I have a working floppy boot disk and a working floppy boot DVD.

I attempted to extract the boot files off the DVD and copy them to a disk btu that gave me the NTLDR is missing error message for some reason.
So I then attempted to take the working boot floppy and just replacing the needed files from the extracted files off the DVD. That now give sme the Boot Disk Failure message.

Any wya to find out what file or something I'm missing? The boot disk is really just going to load up the CD drivers and then launch Ghost but it won't get that far.

Thanks!

Go to bootdisk.com and download win98 bootdisk file. You can extract it to a floppy and boot with cd-rom support.

Yeah that's basically what I ended up doing. Got a 98 boot disk and replaced the autoexec and config.sys file with the ones I needed and that seemed to work.
