So i'm looking online for some jeans and i see boot cut jeans. i had never heard of these before. basicall the thigh area is thinner than normal jeans and then kind of gets wider below the knee. its not as pronounced as bell bottoms from what info i found.

anyway, my question is, do men wear these pants? they are listed under males jeans so i assume so. the jeans i have now are extremely baggy and i really don't care for them like that. i also don't want them too tight either.

i'm a typical guy who could really doesn't know anything about fashion. 99% of my wardrobe consists of jeans and t-shirts. its what i feel comfortable in and luckily my job allows me to dress that way. my last job was business casual and i never felt comfortable.

I can't stand really baggy pants and I hate tight ones, boot cuts seem a little in between. I wear my AE boot cut jeans all the time :)

I bought a few pairs at AE about 2 years ago. Before I go on with this story let me say that I abhor shopping and only go when forced by my girlfriend, or I'm in dire need of something. This time it was the latter as it was mid-december and I had 1 pair of jeans. So I go into the store go to the Men's section, grab 3 pairs that are in my size and go to pay. I got them home and found out that they were as tight as the jeans my girl wears, except starting at the knee they got wider. I wore them for a total of 15 minutes, and put off returning them so long that I passed the return by date heh. Now I make sure all of my jeans are "loose fit" heh

They aren't that tight. I have somewhat large thighs and don't have any problem with my boot-cut Silvertabs. I got them for $19 too! Should have bought more than one pair...not sure what I was thinking.

boot cut is what is 21 century classic. no straight leg or thin pants anymore for guys.
cannot go wrong with them. not too baggy, not to tight. they work for casual, a bit dressy.. anytime.

depending on what size and what type, they kind be quite tight and formfitting, yet not the womens jeans trend the emo kids do
i got a pair a couple pairs of low rise boot cut levi's... best damn jeans i've ever worn. the one of the three pairs i have is actually one inch thinner in the waste (bought different size that time) and thus fit me like what womens jeans probably would. tight in the ass and thighs, but they are damn hot on me :)
others are just formfitting in the legs, but not skintight, room to breath but they do hug.
:D
