Boost Mobile

I saw an internet ad for boost mobile's $50 unlimited plan which seems too good to be true.

I live in a small town in east central Indiana and also travel somewhat throughout the mid west. My question is does anyone know how the coverage is for boost mobile?

I have searched google and some sites say boost uses Nextel's iDEN technology while some say it uses sprint's cdma, while others have said it uses a hybrid of both.

If it were on a cdma network I would assume the coverage would be close to that of verizon assuming sprint (I think boost is a subsidiary of sprint) shares towers with verizon.
If boost used only iDEN then I would assume coverage would be very limited outside of larger towns and major interstates/highways

any info would be appreciated,

thanks

I did look at their coverage map which looks kinda spotty, but in their ad it says free roaming. I just wasn't sure if the roaming was on Nextel's iDEN or on Sprint's CDMA which would give better coverage then the iDEN I am guessing.
It might be better if I try and contact Boost's customer service or a retailer..sorry for this post.

thanks

Boost Unlimited is CDMA in some markets and IDEN in others. You will have to check the coverage maps for your area.
