Never could eat that stuff after working there for a week when I was 15. Actually, working there turned me off fast food almost completely.

God I can't do Wendys anymore. Last 2 times me and the wife went we ended up with horrible diarrhea. It might have been this particular wendys of course cause I used to love wendys.

Or perhaps that explains where they get the chili from...

It's nasty. Like a hot dog, but with meat of even more dubious quality. Might even be some ground beak and feet in there, I don't know.
 
I think they've done away with the 99 cent menu. They just call it the value menu now. It's not often that I go to Wendy's so maybe it's been like that for a while.

I got my first Double Stack after work the other night. Got home, started to unwrap that bitch and I noticed that it's way more wet/greasier than I would have expected. It was then that I realized it was oozing blood because it wasn't even halfway cooked.

That's what I get for trying fast food again.

PS -- yes I called up and raised hell. They offered a free meal. I said that's beyond insulting. I got them to make a $25 donation a local charity.
 
Our wendy's has gone downhill, in both the quality of the food and the service.

In college (1996 - 2000) I used to live off their 99cent menu. Typically I got a drink, nuggets, and a burger. Sometimes a chili, nuggets, and a drink.

If I remember right it used to be a total of $3.19 for a meal.

Man I love Wendy's.
 
I still love you, Wendy's! I'm eating some right now actually - small chili, 5 piece chicken nuggets and a crispy chicken sandwich. My usual. (Spent too much time at REI on my lunch break, I was planning on going home for lunch)
 
I just had some Wendy's for lunch. I was sorely disappointed to see the prices on the value menu have gone up. Luckily the double stack is still 99c. 😛
