Why I LOVE Fake News Channel. It's hilarious, why would one need comedy central when these douchebags are talking about jargon 😀

I hear it all the time, because where I work its always on, as that is what people watch around here. Its disgustingly right-winged, which I disagree with, but normally don't have a problem with, but I believe a news source should be objective and to the point, and unbiased..which Fox news is definately not.

That is why it is refreshing.
About as refreshing as a douche

So, you don't ever get that "Not so fresh" feeling? 😛

I don't go to FNC's website anymore because of that registration. I don't do registration sites if I can get what I need anonymously elsewhere...

i love how news sources like the bbc or nytimes are touted as being "objective" or "unbiased." if you ever read news from the wire (ap, reuters), even THAT has a slant. you never get truly objective news. you're best off watching fox news and listening to npr and finding a middle ground, because neither of them are going to give it to you straight.

oh, and that resgistration thing sucks, but you get what you deserve for going to fnc 🙂 if you need good conservative slant news, go to wsj.

For the few moments that I watched it the other day, I seen one of Arnold's supportor's (some Senator or Representative), give a major dig at the dark haired newscaster. He basically said he remember him as the Home Shopping Network guy........was funny the guy was fuming, but held it in.

Have any of those newscasters had any real experience?

The only solution is to watch/read mulitiple news sources. In the course of a day, I'll probably visit http://www.foxnews.com/, listen to one of the following: All Things Considered on National Public Radio, Independent Native News, or Democracy Now. Some other days I might visit CNN.com and then listen to Rush Limbaugh or the Savage Nation. I also visit BBC News, andrewtobias.com (Treasurer for the DNC), and The Economist. During the initial stages of the war in Iraq, I often visited debka.com (Israeli news).

Haha. I bet by the end of the day you are ready for a Dinner consisting of Raw Meat!

Mostly I just feel kind of vaguely angry. The process doesn't leave me feeling approval for any politician at all.

fox is a joke. no one takes the news seriously from that station, least of all the people that run it. the recent law suit they filed against franken just shows how much they will bend over backwards to serve their childish news "stars"

but i do agree that multi-source news is the best solution. but...not everyone has that kind of time.

If I absolutely could only have one news source it would probably be print and it would probably be either the New York Times or the Wall Street Journal (oddly, I get neither of those right now).

Fox news is the ONLY newscast worth watching. Tree huggers beware, you may want to watch the slanted CNN and leave Fox news to people that care about what really matters.

yes, because the further empowerment of rich white males is what really matters.

CNN has a higher ratio of liberal to conservative reporters than Fox has conservative to liberal reporters. Its nice to get news that isn't out strictly to bash the Republican Party.
At least CNN doesn't try to hide the fact that they're decidedly liberal. Fox News specifically claims that they're "fair and balanced" (and are willing to sue anytime someone uses it!) and therefore is more worthy of contempt. Being fairly liberal, I watch CNN, and I admit that they do have a liberal bent to a lot of their news. But I don't see them parading about talking about their "balanced" views that are anything but.

I would have thought it would be "High Times" LOL j/k🙂

It's been a long day already, so...

<rant>

Do you honestly think just because you agree with them that completely, utterly biased news done by a bunch of jackasses (read Fox) is refreshing? For the person that said that news agencies were always "trying to find something wrong with a Republican president," grow up. The entire press always tries to find out when anyone messes up; that's what sells, bad news, not good news. Clinton took more flak than Bush has, and his mistakes were personal ones, not ones that hurt the entire country. If you believe the Fox News praise of Bush and everything neoconservative, you should also pay more attention to the world around you. The current leadership has made a grave number of errors in the past year and a half. Watch "The Jim Lehrer News Hour" on PBS if you want real discussions from all sides on different important topics and to know what's actually going on; if you watch Fox, expect to get deceived, or maybe just the &@#$ you want to hear, depending on your viewpoint.

Fox News is laughable. But there's no denying its widespread appeal to the lowest-common-denominator. I will never watch that channel for real news but I don't mind how my shares of News corp have been doing well.

Oooh, we don't like them there people, so let's call 'em Commies! It would appear that my prediction that any thread referencing liberals will always stray toward calling someone a Communist is becoming more and more true everyday.

Fox News is a joke. Absolutely some of the worst reporting on TV. I much prefer to the BBC or NYTimes.

In other words, you want to watch news that is slanted towards your point of view, not just the news.

Go to CNN where you get real news. Like Britney saying Madonna is the first woman she ever kissed.

Yeah, just like a virgin.

FOX News and the Congressional Black Caucus are hosting two debates among the Democratic presidential candidates on September 9th and October 26, both of which will be carried live in their entirety on FOX News.

I can't find the article, but there was a case where FOX news was sued by a News anchor who refused to report a story they knew to be false. She was fired for it, and she claimed the obligation of media to not force somone to knowingly report something false. Anyway they won, thus they fought for the right in court to spew bullsh1t on air.

"Clinton took more flak than Bush has, and his mistakes were personal ones, not ones that hurt the entire country."

Since the school years started, and I'm getting up earlier, I've seen two Fox & Friends this week. This morning featured a chat with Gerald Posner, the author of Why America Slept: The Failure to Prevent 9/11

He mentioned that he voted for Clinton twice, but would have taken them back if he had known how Clinton had let Bin Laden and others skate, because he didn't want to go down in the polls.

Yesterday, they had a little chat with the author of this book:

Losing bin-Laden - Richard Miniter
  • PROOF: President Clinton received multiple offers from Arabs to hand over Osama bin Laden -- but turned them down!
PLUS: the complete inside story of Clinton's shocking failure to protect America against terrorist attacks...
I kind of doubt these authors are as prominently featured elsewhere.
