Boondock Saints sequel trailer!

1st one sucked. Yeah, I said it. That movie was fueled by nerdy hormones thinking they had stumbled onto something great nobody else knew about it, and were too stupid to realize it was just a piece of shit in a box.

I didn't like the movie the first time I saw it but it was one of my ex's favorite movies so I saw it a few more times and eventually it became one of my favorite movies. I'm at school and the trailer is blocked but I have a hard time believing the sequel will live up to the original but I'll probably go see it anyway.

Actually backlash against it such as this is fueled by nerdy hormones thinking they have better taste and are cooler than everyone else by putting it down.

saw the first one once, didn't do much for me at that time.

which doesn't mean much b/c, there have been many movies / CDs that i didn't really like the first time, either b/c of the situation or whatever reason, but they grow on me over time.

first time i watched Oh Brother Where Art Thou, I was more concerned with getting drunk and laid than watching the movie, so I thought it was boring & shitty, but then I watched in a different situation and realized my first impression was absolutely wrong.

Maybe I'll try Boondock Saints again, b/c lots of people including some really good friends IRL love this movie.

Agreed. The first one could not be topped for sheer idiocy, so why bother? No matter how hard they try they're never going to attain that perfect storm of pure suckage.
 
Meh. The trailer looks okay, not particularly good or terrible. It seems like they're trying a little too hard to be cool/capture the quirks of the first movie. Not really digging the title. I watched the first one to kill two hours or so of my time and it did the job. I'm sure this will do the same (hopefully).

Also : Julie Benz? Really? Dexter's wife is going out shooting stuff? woo?
 
I recognised the name cause I've heard people talk about how good the first was but never saw it. Watching some G4 yesterday and they played a long promo clip for it; looked interesting enough from that.
 
yeah...I can't really tell from the trailer. Boondock Saints is my favorite movie though so I have high hopes for this

meh

might rent it. don't remember much of the first, just that it wasn't worth watching a 2nd time. cliche'd and over-done like every other identical film of its genre.
