Grab some Dean Koontz books. Wierd sci-fi mystery type stuff. Try cold fire, mr. murder, the bad place.

Or if you want something really interesting get "Remington Factor", can't remember the author, but all I can say is it was a darn good book.

Try Catch-22, or the Hitchikers series if you havn't read them already (although I can't imagine why not)

Isaac Asimov is good, you could get a bunch of short storys by him.

Most of the older science fiction is good, but I hate the new stuff.

The Greatest Generation was interesting. I liked Isaac's Storm, a slow start, but then really interesting.

Oh yeah, have you ever read any David Sedaris? Really funny stuff.

Just about anything by McCammon is good.

Mine
The Wolf's Hour
Swang Song (Probably his best)
Stinger
Boy's Life

Are all real good.

Hmm, although alot of people like Foundation, I personally don't. I enjoyed the Robot series, although other people didn't seem to. Maybie I'm just strange.

Edit: If you like Ray Bradburry, I suggst reading his The Illustraded Man, its connected short stories also.

Most of his works are about his life and experiences. He just has a really funny take on things. He was on David Letterman the other night. I think his latest book is called...Me Talk Pretty...about trying to learn French in a class with people from all over the world trying to communicate with one another. He read an excerpt on the show and it was good.

Also if you like learning historical facts that you never heard about in school posed in a very interesting way, try...Don't Know Much About the Civil War...by Kenneth C. Davis.

Stephen King books are always good. You could also check out some Grisham novels if your into the whole justice system :)

Some that I've enjoyed. Your mileage may vary, of course.

Fiction:
Einstein's Dreams (Alan Lightman)
One Hundred Years of Solitude (Gabriel Garcia Marquez)
Farenheit 451 (Ray Bradbury)

Non-fiction:
The Sunflower (Simon Wiesenthal)
How the Mind Works (Steven Pinker)
Tuesdays With Morrie (Mitch Albom)
Please Understand Me II (Kiersey), about psyschology of personality
Angela's Ashes (Frank McCourt)

I've read most of Grisham's books and The Firm and A Time to Kill are the only ones really worth reading.
