Hey college kids, how do you guys order books online when you needs the books by the time class starts? Half.com takes forever for things to arrive via media mail.

Anyway, I usually get my books on time with half but the website was so screwed up that my order didn't get confirmed until yesterday. Sucks. :( :(

$40 for a book that will take you how long to read? Really not a bad deal IMO. I buy 85% of my EE textbooks used, the only ones I buy new are the new editions - and with the new editions, you usually get a pretty high buyback percentage, wheras with a 3 year old book, you can buy it cheap but sell it back cheaper - the market is flooded.

spent like $600 on books this semester, I should really buy used or something. Atleast Calc will last a few semesters. I'll try and sell back the rest.

Spent $460 on books for 4 classes this quarter.. and I didn't even buy the optional ones.

Only 2 of the books had used variations, but one set of books for a class is used for three quarters.. so that's good.

At least you are willing to buy these books. Better than my bum friends, "Oh can I borrow your book to photocopy?" My brand new book, still in wrap.
