bookmarks in Firefox 2?

I'm trying to find my bookmarks so I can transfer them over to another computer. Can't seem to be able to find them in Firefox's folder.

thanks

Bookmarks > Organize Bookmarks > File > Export

Import using File > Import

I'm not sure where the actually favorites are stored, but I think it's somewhere in local settings

EDIT: C:\Documents and Settings\*username*\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\*profilename*\bookmarks.html

yup, but the import/export thing in the bookmarks manager is actually pretty easy to use and efficient. I would just go about it that way.

I haven't had a reason to use the Bookmark Manager, but it's still good to know where the bookmarks are located. I have a second hard drive for just data (no OS installed on it), and I often copy and paste the bookmark.htm file over to my second drive as a backup.

When the IBM hard drives came out with such great raves, I was one of thousands that suffered a crash. I hadn't backed up for about a week, so I lost that data. Now, I try to backup more frequently, but I still copy over certain files to the 2d drive as a "backup to the backup." It doesn't hurt, it's just one extra DVD, so what the hell? If you have a floppy drive, you can use that as well.

MozBackup

Just thought I'd mention that MozBackup is seductive because it looks good, and creates backups easily, but I've been unable to get MozBackup to properly restore e-mail from backup.

Also, it's virtually impossible to get admitted to the MozBackup help forum. After signup again & again, the confirming e-mail never comes.

If anybody here has had success in restoring e-mail from a MozBackuup, I'd appreciate a PM from you and some help, because I can't get it to work.
