A lot of people reading The Dark Tower series in preparation for the new book, I need to get them and read them now that they're being re-released in special editions.

It is? D'oh! Oh well, I had not acquired and read the ones before that yet, now I can just get them all with the same order.

Ayup, Book V came out about 2 weeks ago. I picked it up while on a business trip from a Barnes and Noble.

Excellent, time to put in an order with Amazon.Com. 😀

EDIT: WTF, I have never had so much as a double post before, now this!? 😕

William Gibson - Count Zero (next is Burning Chrome)
and
Richard Stevens - UNIX Network Programming (volume 1)

Hocus Pocus - Father Kurt
Mr. Bridge - Evan S. Connell
Me Talk Pretty One Day - David Sedaris
The Watchmen - Alan Moore
the new Non-required Reading book (there is a perfect big about "how to write suspense" in it)

im reading all stuff ive read before, waiting for something new and interesting to come out.

Anne Rule, The End of the Dream

my first "true crime files" book; highly recommended by a friend but I don't like it very much . . . a narrative that doesn't ring "true" or really "grab" me. 😛

🙁

The Bear and the Dragon by Tom Clancy

Impressions: Very Very Very Very Very Long. Mr. Clancy must have been horny when he wrote it. Lots of sex...for a Clancy book.

A War to be Won by Williamson Murray, Allan R. Millett. It's a very readable strategic and operational analysis of the combatants in WWII.
