At least the ending doesnt suck(sorry for being minor spoiler but THERE IS an ending ya know.The game end...sadly one day...)

Yop i love my experience.About 20 hours gameplay.No boring levels.Wont spoil anything but god, its the best game ever made.

Now i am sad 🙁 I just beat this game....and have to wait for....half-life 3?

P.S.:If you beat the game already, please PM me your ending, cause i think there might be different ending( not sure tho )
 
i play game , well ALL games, in EZY more cause its a lvel of difficulty that always give me hard time.I just lost my younger reflex and im no more than goood in videogames 🙂

I beat FarCry on whatever setting came after medium.. It was hella-fun. I'm playing Half Life 2 and I really miss the binoculars and cryovision. I also miss the ability to just toss a grenade whenever independent of whatever weapon I was holding.

Though, I'm thinking Half Life 2 is a pretty damn awesome game.

EDIT: Oh ya.. I'm playing HL2 on medium and I think I'm gonna change it to hard. Even on medium, it seems wayy too easy.

I couldn't imagine blowing through awesome games like Half Life or FarCry on only easy.. That's a good way to lower the amount of gameplay you get out of it.

OMG Alyx and her dad both die! Possibly that other scientist too, depending on how big the blast was...

Unless Gman magically defied the laws of time and space and pulled them out of there. He did with Gordon, heh. Kinda doubt he saved them though.

Things I'm wondering:

Gman's motives for sending Gordon back to Earth.

What happens to humanity after the Citadel falls? Does the Combine go with it? Do the aliens who took Earth come back and destroy everything?

Pretty sure it was in a different galaxy. You'd need to use a portal to reach it like Breen was doing, and I don't think I missed one that I could've used... I just doubt there's an alternate ending other than not destroying the reactor and letting Breen get away. You just hear a line or two of dialogue that you normally wouldn't, that's it. "A predictable failure" or something like that.

Easily.

I wasn't really "satisfied" with the ending, but it fits with the universe (and what we DO know), so I kinda like it.

Even so, I still want to know more! Darn Valve has me intrigued with their story but won't tell me any more!
 
I don't think it lives up to the hype.

Crappy ending. Short game. Barely a story. Too linear. Spent too much time fighting alone then fighting with people as Valve marketed it. Valve marketed a game and shipped almost another.
 
Game is unbeatable. Top of the heap.

The ending, I think, was what it had to be. However, I am definitely hoping for a happy reunion in Half-Life 3. If we never see nor hear of the Vances, Dr. Kleiner, and Barney again....so be it.

I think Valve are on the right track is developing the Half-Life series like a series of novels...If I had to bet, Gordon Freeman will be dropped into another situation knowing nothing in Half-Life 3...a completely new cast of characters (Like I said, I hope everyone returns, but I doubt it), and a completely new situation...
