well to be honest i guess they are about the same price $2 per food.

But i can buy bulk pre-killed frozen rats. i havent seen that with chicks. also guess it would depend on the size of the snake. for my ball pythons i wouldnt start feeding them chicks but a Burmese or such sure.

What is the diff?

oh, so that's like a pet store 'snake food' bird? it looked more like something wild.

and fwiw i think anyone who feeds live animals to other live animals is pretty fucked up, whether it's a rat or a bird or whatever else. so what if 'it's nature,' i don't feed squirrels to my cat.

Getting issues here as well, gif attempts to load until it eventually times out. Mirror / Vid?

well like i said. it kinda depends. the snake should eat either.

But i sure wouldn't start my ball python eating chicks.it would be just to inconvenient. I can buy 50-100 pre-killed frozen mice/rats from either online or reptile swaps. I have NEVER seen pre-killed frozen chicks. so i would have to keep live ones and that wold be a pain.

now if i owned a burmese or another snake that gets large where eating full grown chickens/rabbits etc is ok. i would start them on chicks then go to larger chickens.

edit: guess i was wrong http://www.rodentpro.com/catalog.asp?prod=5#21 has prekilled frozen chicks nto a bad price either

I figured it was the size but was just curious if there was some other little detail. Like dogs with chocolate, but ball pythons with chicks.

well, that's a horrible argument.

If you've owned snakes, then you might "get" it.

Feeding birds like that is ridiculous, however. Mice and rats are the way to go--bunnies for those with huge bowas.

I've churned through so many mice pups working in a research lab that were simply tossed out--would have been much better used as snake food. but, whatever...
That used to be standard practice among researchers, but IACUK and other regulatory arms stuck their toes in the door and decided to create waste rather than efficiency. :\

Saw this yesterday. One of the funniest things I've seen in awhile. I was rolling on the floor.

well ball pythons do get picky. some will go off feed if you change the diet from what they are used to.

They'll show their boobs for 50 year old pervs.
They'll show their boobs to friend just for LOL's.
The will most definitely show the boobs for money.

HAHAHA... my wife just yelled at me for watching that.

Wife: "I can't believe you..."
Me: "What? It's funny."
Wife: "How is that funny?"
Me: "Because I said so! Now boobs, or I play it again!"
