Not true. It's the A6 that's on a modified platform.

actually, the passat does share some stuff with A4/S4... for example, the coil packs(?) on the engine are from the S4

Rims aren't bad. I still love Longbeaches though. Those almost look like gunmetal Monte Carlos.. The ride height is fine, I think you should just paint the valences and you're good to go.

(I still have Avus wheels on my GTI 😱)
