When Family guy is bad, it takes awful to a whole new level (like tonight's episode). While on the flip side, there are moments when they can make you laugh pretty hard also. You gotta take a lot of bad to get the few good things on the show. Starting not to be worth it though. All shows have bad episodes/jokes, but Family Guy takes it to a train wreck level 😛

last nights first half hour of family guy is probably the best new episode they have had since the show came back from being off the air.
 
I've seen brief snippets of Family Guy. From the little bit I've seen, I don't find it entertaining nor amusing. (then again, I couldn't stand Seinfeld either)

Why the hell do adults watch cartoons anyway?

I don't think its that. The episode was really out of character for the show (both went disgusting and too serious). Who wants a serious bit about suicide in the middle of a show like Family Guy?

And what's worse is that now we have to have the Cleveland show too because of FG's success, that is the worst show ever.

You can't make character-driven 30min dialogue in what is supposed to be a satiric cartoon; it just doesn't work.

Yea. What makes Family Guy funny is the ridiculous random things that happen throughout an episode. Other than Peter, the characters on their own aren't terribly funny, so an episode like this is doomed from the start.
