When I had the pizza job, the employees who were there for a while typically got a few hundred for a Christmas bonus (especially if it was a busy year.) But, there are no Christmas bonuses for teachers, other than a week off. The trade-off is a nice pension plan :)

QFT, but I am sure we will hear about all they do is plan next years lesson plan.

My biggest problem in this is most teachers are subject based. Last I checked math, biology and chemistry didn't change too much at the sub college level lately.

Yea, and the district doesn't hand them a packaged outline of what they are supposed to teach and they don't buy teachers editions of the textbooks that basically they can just follow day by day. They actually have to create the curriculum ALL BY THEMSELVES and have a new one every single year.

brown noseing doesn't get you far in business really.

The Senior Management will look at you as office furniture.

I don't know how a boss could dictate your vacation time unless you negotitated it too.

You dont know my boss :)

I didnt really brown nose but I worked my ass off to get it done this year.

My expectation is that will pay off, if not....probably time to move on because they must see me as office furniture.

yeah getting 110 hours off the clock in trade for working your boss should have triggered this.

Since this type of company is below radar, I would have knocked him out...left the room and act surprized about "I told him I quit and left...I am not sure why he needed this."
