got a xmas bonus check today $100 and my ham.

last year i got $2000. usually the hourly employees get the $100 and the salaried get more. now i'm trying to remember if i got the $100 and the $2000 last year. I can't remember.

wouldn't be suprised that this is it this year because of layoffs and the new building being built.
 
I also got mine today, which is really nice because my company doesn't normally give bonuses. This year is an exception because they wanted to reward some of the salaried workers who helped out this summer when the union went on strike.
 
Lucky bastards. All we're getting is a frozen turkey and a wall calendar with our company propaganda photos 🙁
 
LOL, $100 is lame. How do you go from $2000 to $100??? Sorry to hear that news. I get 4% of my salary for a bonus each year and a 4% raise minimum. We also get a certificate for honeybaked ham or free gas.
 
oh, i got a free company logo sweatshirt/hoodie thing too.

if i remember correctly, i didn't get my large bonus until after christmas last year. i think it may have been even later in the new year.

well, i said i wasn't sure if i got the 100 and the 2000 later on last year. hopefully i still get a larger bonus, especially after everyone tells me they like me better and i do a better job than my boss, lol.
 
i think i got a $5 starbucks card last year. i don't think i will be getting anything this year.

well, the building was started before the layoffs and the layoffs happened because we were making too much product and it wasn't getting sold. usually this time of year we're busier than hell and keep keep anything in stock. this year sales is really slow.
 
Sucks man.

The bank I just began working at only gave 3 week instead of 4 week salary bonus this year. Even though i've only been there 3 months they still gave me 2 weeks, which came out to almost $500 after taxes..

oh yeah, that $100 is before takes too, so its actuallylike $88 and some odd cents.
 
Got the first part of my bonus a couple of weeks ago and the parent company gave out a hefty extra bonus to everyone because of a record breaking year.

I'm not always interested in the work here but it is benefits like that that keep me with the company.

might I ask what type of product you make? seems like poor foresight if they couldn't tell from market trends that the tides were turning so fast.
 
I get nothing. Actually, my boss wants me to run the office while he's gone out of the country for several weeks, with no mention of extra pay. I figure I'll come to work around 10, take several hours of lunch, and head home at 5.

Same thing we get every year.

Although, March 15th should bring a 10% of my salary bonus.
