All,
Looking to solicit some ideas for a bonus room we've got in a place we just move into. I asked some co-workers and everyone seems to think it was planned, at one point, to be a bar room. Funfortunately, the homeowners built an extremely large pub-style bar across the house, so we've got little reason to build a second one. It's half-moon in shape, with windows facing out into a back yard and what will be a garden. It's completely tiled, and has a radiant heating system installed. It also has a hot + cold water supply and a drain linked to our septic system nearly in the middle of the room, making placing of furniture a little awkward.
Ideas we've come up with and potentially tossed:
Indoor hot tub (not protected from humidity, no real air flow, floor likely can't handle the weight)
Indoor hydroponics room/garden (probably humidity issues?)
Please tell me there's something we can do with this room other than a cat playroom or storage, that can actually make use of a water supply/return. Thanks!
