Bone Marrow Transplant

So today was the day that I met with the doctors to discuss when i'll be admitted to start with my transplant. Hopefully its gonna be happening in the next 1.5 or 2 weeks. So I've got about another week or so to spend time with my own immune system until it gets replaced with some other random guys in the country. Its amazing what medicine can do these days

They can actually take what they need directly out of the arm through the blood now a days....but he'll get drinks for me whenever he wants them haha

Can you please give us an update on your situation and explain how the bone marrow donation process works? I read it from the website but they don't make it sound too appealing. I am most interested in if the donor and recipient get to meet each other.

i got my email from the site confirming i am still registered and they know my address

if you get a chance, getting registered just takes a small amount of blood so they know your marrow type or whatever it is they need to know
