Bon Scott didn't sing Back in Black 😉

On a side note, why do people like her voice? It sounds like a cat being put into a blender.
Oh snap. I'm surprised I didn't catch that.

But you have to admit, Bon Scott singing that song would just be so fitting. 🙂

I know he didn't sing it but I figured most people knew him more then Brian Johnson.

Oh come on folks. You're just saying it's bad because it's Celine Dion. It's a very respectable, good performance... 10x better than the one by Shakira.

No. They both suck.

He did write the lyrics though. And there are early version of the song with him singing. Just not the album version. FYI. 🙂

OK I cannot say I hate the Celine performance. She does not do the song much justice, but she at least does not butcher it. It is also easier to listen to than watch.

She at least tries to keep the sound of the song intact.

Yep.

It's not a spectacular performance, but it really wasn't that bad. Really. It could have been so much worse in so many ways.

You got that right. It was actually better than many of the AC/DC cover bands you see in pubs!hehe

I also never heard of that Anastacia chick before, but she has a cool voice.

Bonn Scott contributed no lyrics to "Back in Black", the entire album was written by Angus Young, Malcolm Young, and Brian Johnson.

This tops Sheryl Crowe's version of Sweet Child O' Mine for worst cover of a classic hard rock song.
It might not be "hard" rock, but Madonna's cover of American Pie < *

I'm not even going watch it, but I can't imagine it beats Britney's cover of I Love Rock 'n Roll...
Actually, that cover is tied with a cover of Paradise City that I heard on the radio once.
I don't know what band it was, some chick that definitely couldn't sing worth crap tried to sing anyway.

There should be a law against crappy pop artists making covers of proper songs.
Like a UN Human Rights type law.
