He did do a good job as mayor. But he's human and makes mistakes just like everyone else. I doubt he's foolish enough to believe everything on the internet is true. I think he was more likely following the lead of that comedian that exposed Bill Cosby to the masses with this line: "Google 'Bill Cosby rapist' ".
