Release-notes:
You can use your favorite account manager to easily attach to new projects. Please see BOINC for a list of account managers and what they could be used for.
Better personal firewall support for the screensaver. For those who were experiencing lockups when the screensaver was activated, this release should fix that problem.
Preferences can be overridden when a global_prefs_override.xml is specified. Please see Preference Override
Better notification about BOINCs network access needs.
SOCKS5 proxies should now work properly.
Many small bug fixes that improve the overall quality of our software.

To upgrade, goto http://boinc.berkeley.edu/download.php and download new version for your system.
To install, just stop old client, and install the new over top. :)
... Well, if you're still running v4.19, you needs to uninstall old client before upgrading...

BOINC v5.4.9 contains some "visible" changes, among these various things is re-named is example isn't called "Wu" and "Result" and "Credit" any longer...
Also, a major re-vamp of Statistics-tab, making it useful for someone running more than one project also.

As for more "hidden" changes:
Fixes a download-bug in older clients
Safer writing of client_state.xml, and uses backup if main corrupt on re-start.
BOINC uses port-31416 instead of 1043... For this reason, BOINC Manager v5.4.xx can't connect to v5.2.xx and earlier BOINC-clients

Maybe it's just me, but when I installed it, I had to re-attach to Rosetta!!
Don't know if I had any results to upload as I didn't think to check first :)

Transition went well for me, no need to reattach to a project. I really like the new stats graphs, at last they changed the freakin' yellow color to something else.

Thanx RD! :D

Seems to work well with BoincView, so I'll start upgrading here and there..

I have updated 10 of 13 Windows-comps - looks good and no problems at ell. Seems to be a more than evolutionary update (jumping from 5.2.13 to 5.4.9 ..) :)
