boinc scoring

I am confused as to how a athlon 64 3200 is slower than a sempron 2400. Is boinc slower on linux than it is on windows? 64 bit slower than 32 bit?

My computers

3700 = ubuntu 64 7.10
sempron = ubuntu 7.10
xp = 1750 mhz athlon XP


I just find it confusing......
