Everyone needs to run it right now to get trusted. Even if you're not bunkering, but bunkering is highly recommended.

I said EST Mark. I don't know what you are waiting on. The project is World Community Grid and multiple people have said that already.

Makes sense. Anyway, I am up to 500 downloaded on my new boxes (all except one) and 1000 for the older boxes, so getting bunker ready !

bunkering... so a task takes 1.5 hours. that 16 tasks per day per core. so for a 128 core machine, that 2048 per day. we only get a maximum of 1000 tasks, so we can only bunker a little less than 12 hours. Is it worth it ? Or is my mth screwball ???

In your case, I’d just run open and not worry about bunkering. If you can stick with WCG the whole time, that’d be ideal.

depends on what else comes up. If I am needed for another pentathlon event, I have to mix them. anyway, yes, I am running wcg now on all systems. I have 2 of the 14 that I can't get "trusted" . Thats 256 threads going nowhere !

I know I have asked this before, but is there a grace period on the task expiration times? These MCM units time out pretty quick afaict.

I need to soon introduce you all to this year's additions to the Pentathlon fleet. But for now, I'll have to do it via text (pics later).

7x 16c/32t AMD 7945HX systems, named Andie MacDowell, Cate Blanchett, Zoe Bell, Scarlett Johansson, Jennifer Connolly, Madeleine Stowe, and Tilda Swinton.

And a dual Epyc with 128c/256t, named Crunch-N-Munch.

Added 32c/64t to The Beast, bringing it to 64c/128t.

And last, a 4th RTX4090.

Andie has been skipping leg day it appears, her times are longer than the others.....ah, only using 50watts of CPU. Naughty girl, I'm gonna have to peek under your BIOS. There we go, errant power setting, she's back up to 100 watts CPU.

Scarlett is, uh, on location at the moment. Should be in service Sunday. Buddy is keeping an eye on her.

Zoe and Tilda are a mess right now. Sunday. I promise.

Not that I know of. The new tasks time out after 7 days, but resends appear to be only 3. If you flush right after you see initial 0's in the stats you should be fine.

It's on the shelf to the right of the cheez-its. On their own those facts don't narrow it down much ( ), but together I think they do.

May 5-10, midnight UTC. And yes, pinning cores would be important.

Got it. The laying down config I did not expect (He got it from me!)

So midnight UTC is 5 PM PDT, but day before or after ?? The this sunday at 5 PM ? or MOnday 5PM ?

And how would 2 Genoa 64 core do at the "new" milkyway ? 8c config good ? I would have 16 concurrent tasks.

So Sunday 5 PM PDT or 8 PM EST. Nice to start in the daylight on a weekend ! (as opposed to 10 pm, 11,12,1,2,3,4,5 am)

And how about my question on configs ? I have trained all but those 2 on WCG, so they get the milkyway. Somehow they got configed to 4c. That is set in milkyway ? they are finishing in 17 minutes. 32 total running.

Just run everything you got on World Community Grid: MCM.

MW had 1k tasks available.
WCG is barely sending out any.

Just run PG, E@H, NF, NFS and another that can keep up with work for everyone.
