OP should update price for ZZF to $116 shipped and add the link below to ChiefValue($115 shipped).:) I was going to go for ZZF, but ChiefValue is $1 less. Does anyone have preference between the two? Better RMA at either one? Also, does ZZF or ChiefValue charge tax to CA?

Edit: They both charge tax to CA. Just ordered from ChiefValue. Movin from pc-3200 to pc-4200:)

Damn... if I would have waited a week, I could have saved $5. Oh well, the RAM works great. Alot better than the Kingmax I got at Newegg(PC3200, 1gb).

Just to reiterate for those of you not familiar with DDR2 - these chips ONLY work on Intel LGA775 Pentium 4/Celeron chipsets. Namely the 915, 925 and the new 955 dual core compatible chipsets. They have a different number of pins than regular DDR and won't even plug into Athlon or older Intel motherboards (such as the 865, 875 or 845 DDR chipsets).

Once again, unless you have one of a very specific set of Intel chipsets (and you'll know it if you do) - don't even think of buying this RAM.

BTW, what up with the reviewer at Newegg that was miffed that the Corsair wasn't a dual channel kit? I've had no problems running simple twin packs in dual channel mode myself, so I've never had a real need for perfectly matched pairs.

I've been following the Corsairs on ZZF for a week or so now. I couldn't jump on it cuz of the constant price drops. Today Newegg finally lowered their price and even included free shipping at $105. Finally...finally...I am going to buy it!

It is down to $103 at chiefvalue but up to $105 at ZZF. I am thinking now is the low point.
Question before I buy:
I have a Dimension 8400 with 2x256 sticks. If I add this to it, will it still run in Dual Channel at 400 MHz? I read somewhere that it will lower the speed to 333 MHz.

Bought a pair for $110 shipped to CA.
They sure charge weird tax rate, 7.25%...

I'm just wondering how should I set it up in my D4700?
I know it has 2x256MB DDR2 PC3200 right now (in dual channel mode?).
I suppose I should run the new ones at PC3200 as well?
