My car had some collision repair at some point before I owned it, and the passenger doors and front fender were repainted. The paint doesn't even come close to matching the original color, which is a dark green; it is much more of a blue color. The picture below shows it pretty well:

I'm sure this varies a lot geographically, but I wanted to know if anyone here could give me a rough idea of what it might cost to have the doors repainted. (the whole car could also use a good buffing, but that's another story.)

Since this is a 10+ year old car with a ton of miles on it, it may not be worth doing, and I wouldn't spend the time taking it to a body shop if it's going to be relatively expensive. Hopefully not though, because it bugs me whenever I look at it. Thanks all.

800-1200 is my guess. I had the rear quarter panel repaired and repainted after tornado damage and I think it was around 600.

And matching a colour with 10+ years of fade on it... I'd be surprised if you'd get it done for much less than a grand. Paint ain't cheap.

Well that's what I was afraid of. Thanks for the reality check...

I only paid $2500 for the car (plus repairs which don't count) so that's not happening unless someone backs into my car while it's parked and they pay for it 😀.
