I disagree with your interpretation just slightly. I'd say most gay women are more masculine than most women and most gay men are more feminine than most men, but in all the lesbians I've known (and I've known a good share of bull dykes having grown up in that community), there is not a single one out there who is as masculine as some of my friends (the Army folk and the loggers primarily). Same thing with gay men when compared to a lot of the girls I went to high school with (*shudder*). But that has more to do with socialization and normative gender roles as it does with any biological differences.

Not all gay people are bull dikes and drag queens. My friend is probably more "manlier" then you or I am. He's 6'4 all muscle, ex military, hockey player, short hair, deep voice, beer drinking, steak eating dude. I have (had) long hair, drink wine, wear suits, play tennis. Yet I am very very straight and he is very very gay. Wow go figure... :disgust:
