They don't tell us if the body was missing it's head and legs because they were cut off, or because .. it's been at sea for 3 months.

it could be that something finally ate through her legs or they finally separated through the post mortem breaking down of tissue. Either way, it lookls like she was wearing cement shoes (or similar) and she came up only after her legs fell off... and her unborn son came up just a short distance from her. Oh, and this is right near where her husband was fishing on Christmas Eve.

I'll be amazed if someone besides him is charged with this murder. How completely screwed up do you have to be to kill your own wife and child.

Not meaning to disagree with you, as that could be what happened, but that's a disturbing mental picture... :(

If she did in fact turn up close to where he was fishing.....that's all the convincing I need...Someone needs to start mixing the cement for his new footware.

3+ months isn't so bad. The weather was cold too, and i doubt there's any carnivorous life in the lake that can chew through flesh.

its a little likely he did it. sick dude....9 month old pregnant lady is not a prize catch for a rapist or serial killer. its the hubby.

its like oj being "innocent" unlikely, but no much u can do about it.

let's see... they lived 90 miles from the area where the body was found..
scott peterson was on a boat 2 miles from the beach where the body was found on the day laci disappeared.
scott bought the boat 2 weeks before his "outing"

... he's fried.

And ...

They found information about the currents in the area where the bodies were found on his computer. To his dis-advantage, the weather has been really out of whack in that area and the currents were not behaving in a typical manner. Bend over, Scottie ... Bubba's ready to give you some lovin'

I've studied some research on lying and the best liars will act as though they have nothing to hide. (So running would be like admitting guilt, and he's not going to do that.) But micro-expressions can give them away... those are those fleeting moments when the person just can't hide what is on their mind, even if just for a half second.

According to the the radio station i was listening to on the way back from work, Scott Peterson is believed to have been arrested in San Diego. There is supposed to be an official statement by police at 9pm.

I've always thought he was guilty just by how he acted. I'm married and no kids...not sure if we're gonna have any.

But if my wife turned up missing, I'd be a miserable wreck. I don't know what I'd do, but I'd damn sure bite the head off of anybody that accussed me of doing it.

People show grief in different ways mind you, but I for one, as a husband, never saw the grief I'd expect any man to have. Or anger for that matter. The other part that botherd me was how he acted after they found the bodies.....again if it were me, I'd be sleeping at the coroner's office until I had news that it was my wife, whereas he just acted like it was a normal day. Not to mention....he didn't just lose his wife, he lost his child. Just no sign of grief from him from my perspective. That's why I always thought he did it.

RIP Laci & Connor. At least your family has closure.

I hope that they can give him a fair trial, but from what I've read, it seems like they've already convicted him. I myself can't watch it anymore. Every time it comes on the news I just see a man that was running around on his pregnant wife, and possibly killed her, and it makes me sick. (That's why I hope they can give him a fair trial, and find jurors that will listen to the evidence & not the propaganda....because I sure couldn't be a juror in this case).

My wife also thinks he killed the other girl at his college....but I can't tell if that's a complete disdain for him as a person.....or truly an intuitive feeling. Either way, If he did do it, he'll get what he deserves, in this life or the next. I'm against the death penalty, but cases like this, make me wish I wasn't (again, if it was him).
