Bob's Burgers

My verdict on Bob's Burgers is that it needs more . . . seasoning.

It just doesn't cut the mustard. Few relish it. It may never ketchup with the other animated shows.

As served, I'll bet there's not Five Guys in the entire country who'll like it!

Nominate for lamest post of the year.

Also, the show sucks.

because its a perfectly acceptable medium for telling a story

never understood why people hate on cartoons as a medium and claim they are only for kids

I never understood that. I stoped watching them around 12 when i discoverd espn. Now thats 90% of the TV i consume.

so you'd rather watch overpaid men that need real jobs playing childhood games "professionally" than watch something of real entertainment just because its drawn instead of filmed?

I myself have never seen the allure of watching sports period. watching grown men fight over a ball just doesn't do anything for me..

Definitely a bit of a let down, though I did have fun recognizing all of the voices from Home Movies:

Bob = Coach McGuirk, obviously
The health inspector with a crush = Fenton
The mortician = Mr. Lindenson (Paula's boss)
Other health inspector = Mr. Lynch
Pretty sure I heard Melissa's dad/Dr. Katz in there somewhere.

I'll give the show another shot, but it was decidedly....meh.

I thought it was about an ethnic minority family running a burger joint, which would be an interesting premise.

They look like they could be middle eastern or latins, but after watching couple episodes, they're total Americans.

A 2nd season?? Wow, surprising. I still give it a shot each week and everytime I just cannot finish it, I got to where Bob got into a fight with the pizza place guy and put on something else before Family Guy. No way it's better than the Cleveland Show or American Dad, but last night EVERY show was underwhelming.
