I was a programmer for 6 years at the same company, until I quit last September. Unfortunately, some wack jobs decided it would be a good idea to attack the US a couple days before I was supposed to leave the company. The tech sector was in decline as it was, that didn't help anything. After sending out god only knows how many resumes, I've had one interview.

Going through the paper today there was an ad for the Hitching Post, a rather well known motorcycle shop that I happen to have moved to a place two blocks away from last month. They were looking for sales people, so I stopped by and talked to the sales manager for a bit. It went really well and I should hear from them by the end of the week. If everything goes well, I'll have the job of my dreams pretty soon! 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀

Edit: Ornery, I know motorcycles are dangerous. I don't care. 😛 😉

now only if this place sells suzuki parts.. having an inside link into the motorcycle industry helps a lot..

The other day some lady in a Chevy Tahoe, talking on the phone decides to drive "aggressive" because the car in front wasnt going fast enough. I was in the middle lane. I saw it (and she didnt see me apparently) and braked hard and did an emergency swerve and then gave her an ear ful from my horn. She got so frightened.. she nearly lost control of the car. I then gave her a stare and shot past her.

freaking women who drive SUV's.. they should be banned.
 
Actually they carry Suzuki, Kawasaki, Yamaha and Honda. 😀

So then I could can get myself a stable bikes at cost. A VTX would be a good. Maybe a Drifter. Maybe this wouldn't be such a great job, I'd spend more than I earn. 😛
