BOB and Eminem - what do they have in Common?

That's the path to stardom. Get your foot in the door, and then get Timaland to produce your next album and/or get Rihanna to do the chorus of your song. Of course the first part is a little hard. 😉

The two examples given aren't the best ones though as there are much worse examples of this.

Then you haven't heard Recovery. His best album in 8 years (The Eminem Show in 2002)... Relapse was freaking horrible and Encore was decent but not great.

Encore and Relapse were awful. Just unlistenable. I want to listen to Recovery but I'm scared. Slim Shady LP (and a couple tracks off the EP) still get weekly spins in my cd player / mp3 player.

Eminem has sold 8X more records worldwide than Swift (80 million to 10). Come talk to us in 10 years and we'll see if she has the longevity of Eminem. She'll probably just end up like Shania (33.5 million) or Faith Hill (40 mil) or Reba (56 mil). No female country singer can compete with Em (although male like Garth Brooks @200 mil = amazing).
