Yeah....I've been slowly building up a personal library.

Current rotation favorites are Five Tribes and Castles of Mad King Ludwig.

I also help run a local gaming convention. We had over 500 attendees this year 🙂
I'm dying to try Giant Fire Truck! 😛

Seriously though, I'm trying to stick with co-op stuff. The most likely candidates for my next purchase are the Pathfinder adventure card game (one of them, haven't put any thought into which), Space Alert, or Shadows Over Camelot.

Dominion is fun too, but a spendy game to get into. I missed the Dominion Big Box sale at Amazon, but luckily my buddy picked it up.

+1 Catan
+1 Ticket To Ride

I recently played:
- Splendor, I liked it
- Misery, I was OK with it
- Tzaar,... meh
- Roll for the Galaxy, it was great,... but, I didn't understand it fully
- Race for the Galaxy, hated it, enjoyed the dice version more
- Survive, it was pretty cool, I liked it
- King of New York, I like King of Tokyo better

I bought Race for the Galaxy 4 years ago, read the rules like 10 times and still didn't understand it. Never played it.

Roll For the Galaxy came out and it had great ratings on BGG and other gaming sites. Everyone said it was better than the card game so I bought it to bump an order on CSI over $100. We tried it out the first time last week. We passed the instructions around to 4 different people (who are pretty experienced gamers) and all of them were left scratching their heads trying to understand some of the rules. Then we youtubed it and were even more confused.

We finally just started trying to play and fumbled our way through it. took about 6 or 8 rounds for things to start making sense. I hated it up front. Still came away being ok with it...but not really wanting to play again. I need a few more rounds to really judge and would also like to play with someone experienced with it for more in game assistance.
