bnetd? anyone able to get it to work

I am interested in setting up a bnet server specifically for starcraft (yes we all have valid keys).

I have tried:

bnetd-0.4.25-2.i386.rpm
bnetd-0.4.24.tar.gz
perfsgs-bnetd0312a (on windows)

In general, the processes start up and seem to listen on the 6112

The clients can connect to the server. The client states "accessing account information" then just sits there forever...

Anyone have any ideas?

my setup:

p3-500

nothing out of the ordinary

running bnetd-0.4.24 from source


it keeps getting stuck at "accessing account" on the client

I wish I could help more, but I just followed the instructions on the faq at w3pub.net, and it worked just fine for a LAN server...
