I still game on my 22" CRT and was wondering if using the BNC connectors would give me better quality? The VGA looks incredible and I honestly can't see it getting better but I've heard BNC is better.

I don't think there's really any difference between the two, except for long cable runs BNC might be better due to splitting up the signal into separate cables.(internally a vga cable does the same, but less insulation between them)

Exactly. BNC can go 100 meters or so before it starts to show noticeable loss (for digital connections anyway, not sure about analog). Try going 10 meters with VGA and you will not be happy :)

Good for you - still using a CRT. I still miss mine :( Resolution and refresh rate flexibility FTW!!!

I switched from VGA to BNC. All I can really tell is that it seems sharper. I believe it was a pretty shitty VGA cable though.

Another thing it does is free up the VGA port for my 360.
