BNC or RCA?

Trying to help my parents setup a system. Right now it look slike I am going to use a DVR card for a PC, then 1 or 2 cameras.

The RJ45 cameras seem to be alot pricer then they want to pay. So would BNC or RCA be better. Quality? Rugged? things like that.

edit: this is the card I am getting, 99.9% Positive i think. it has BNC but comes with adpaters for RCA

BNC is designed for use with shielded coax. That makes it a bit more secure.

Of those two I would agree BNC is better because of the shielding...
