We're not so sure how scientific its poll was, but an online dating service that calls itself the U.K.'s largest for married people says that men who cheat on their wives are twice as likely to drive a BMW than any other brand of car.

According to NineMSN.com, Illicit Encounters points to the "intrinsic link between success and cheating" to explain the connection between Bimmers and adultery. Some 19 percent of the dating website's members drive a BMW, including 11 percent of the women who responded to the survey, according to the report. Coming in second on the survey was Audi, with Mercedes-Benz a close third. While BMW may not be outwardly proud of this "victory," we're sure at least someone in Munich is glad to have bested its German rivals.

Speaking of which, scroll down to watch a classic Mercedes commercial about a "happily married" couple.

I want to scream wrong forum, but I'm torn between L&R and The Garage. Maybe it should be cross-posted to all sub forums. :p

How do you tell the difference between a rose and a BMW?

With a rose the prick is on the outside. :D

I heard a variation of that with a porcupine.

Not so far from the truth. Two of my worst highway cutoff incident have been with BMW drivers.

I wonder how driving a Nissan Frontier relates to cheating...:hmm:

Maybe the owners don't have as much sexual torque?

My uncle always told me:

Douches buy or lease expensive cars.

They want to be more than what they are so they chase status (which nobody cares) and self validation.

At the end of the day......when they fail somewhere in life and go through a divorce where they have to give half+ their money to the ex, then they'll realize what tools they were and hopefully have a better grip on reality of things.

In other news people who drive pick ups are more likely to have burns of a light nature around the outside of their neck region

i've met a lot of folks who drive very expensive cars, but they were very down to earth and humble. you would never be able to tell that they drive 55K+ cars.

Agreed. The most generous, down to earth folks I have met drive exotics and high end luxury cars.
