walked out of the restaurant with my dad and we see this one.

i automatically think its a 645 but no, its an m6.
500+ hp, anyone ever driven this? just curious how it is @ 100K 🙂

I've driven an M5 on a test drive before. The M5 is pretty amazing - you get tons of power but don't feel it, if that makes sense. 60mph on the highway doesn't feel much different than 90 or 100, and acceleration feels like it's done in an instant, you won't really know it happened unless you're looking at the speedometer.

The clutch... oh my god... beyond amazing. I don't know how else to describe it besides saying it's amazing... that thing must be a work of art, using it was a pleasure, easiest clutch I've ever used.

My mate has one. Nice car. The HUD is nice. It has grunt, but my car is 9/10ths of it and even that is unusable on the public roads.

Drove the new M5 for about a ten-minute test 🙂 It's basically the same thing as the new M6. I drove the SMG version, and the throttle response is spectacularly good. Totally effortless downshifting to the ideal ratio for maximum accelleration, as long as you're in the right mode 😉 I hadn't completely learned all of the ins and outs of it by the time I had to take the car back. It's spooky good, and the sound of an 8000+rpm V10 is interesting to say the least. It's very controllable, flexible, and without the psycho feel of the AMG products.
