I like the new look of the 5-series and 7-series...I've checked out the look on the 3-series, but I'm not sure I like it as much.

the new M5 has a 7 speed in it!!!!! car and driver said this car is way ahead of its time i love the new rims it has too thr car itself looks so much improoved as in the new body style and bmw has done a very gread job with the new body styles!! they look so awsome
 
Sorry, but until Bayerische Motoren Werke dumps iDrive and the other techno-wizardry and goes back to pure design dynamics, the company will never be as good as it was in the latter 90s.

 
BMW has lost me since a year or so. I hate the new lights on the 3-series. I hate the new 5-series. I hate the Z4, I hate the X3.

The only thing left is my M3, which they will surely break in the next release. The new M5 is an awesome performer but I don't like the fact that's it needs to rev to like 8,500RPM instead of the pure torque of the previous E39... not to mention how ugly it has become.

Yeah, BMW's glory days are over. The new lineup is about selling luxury cars to people who want expensive wheels but don't really care about pure driving characteristics. Even the M class is more a luxury sedan than anything else now.
 
a m3 is like $50k right?

i'd pay $55k right now for a Firefox plugin that lets me punch people in the face over the intarweb.

rite so you think an m3 is just a badge?

I don't feel somebody posting that picture in resonce to a thread about an M3 is a valid opinion, if he had said something about how he thought the new bangle designs where ugly then fine.

i :heart: BMW M3

i was going to buy one once i graduate but the Infiniti G35Coupe has caught my eye. They are both super fun cars and it'll be a tough choice to make.
