I liken the E39 to Ashley Judd or Charlize Theron. Gorgeous and incredibly classy. The E60 is more like Angelina Jolie. Sexy, invoking a visceral need to howl like a wolf.

I can't imagine anybody thinking they look alike.😕

IMO, the lagging sales is due to a combination of higher selling price, horrible I-drive, and mediocre performance compared to increasingly stiff competition. Aesthetics aside, what does the E60 offer that's better than the E39? Both generations are about the same in virtually every performance category. Unless you love the looks, why buy the new E60?

I have to say this post was going to get my two big thumbs up until the last few pics of new M5, I know u just want to show us the contrast, but holy motherly cow!! It ruins the whole thing for me! That's how bad the new 5 series is!
