the girlfriend is gonna be out of town for work for 3 months. Do we need to do anything to the car? its a 2006

fuel stabilizer

everything else should be ok for that short a period.

if you're going to be in town you may want to drive it around every 2 weeks or so for a little bit, just get it warmed up. though that could be old wives tale sort of advice.

Nothing its just 3 months.

exactly.....they sometimes sit on the lot for 6-8 months when new before being sold. .....
the only thing I might do is pull the IOD (ignition off draw) fuse so the battery wont run down.

Its 3 months, nothign will happen. however if you want to be a good bf.. start her car once in 2 weeks and run it for like 5 minutes in idle or take it for a small drive around the block or two.

Otherwise you really dont need to do anything. YOu could put fuel stablizer, since that will be the first to go bad and you can pull the battery / put it on a tender if you wish.

She lives in riverside and I live in Beverly hills. No way am I going all the way out there heheh. Thanks guys I will let her know its fine to leave it.

No, he doesn't need to put in fuel stabilizer.

Just fill the tank and let it sit. It's not going to harm anything.

Three months sitting might cause some flat spots in the tires. If they are decent tires the damage probably won't be permanent.
