LOL, I saw the pic and didn't even think about it, but in Engadget's blurrycam pic of the tablet, they have a pic of what is likely iPhone 4.0

Pic is worthless.

Though I'm sure the simple fact that its black and shiny means apple lovers are fapping like crazy right now.

Did they ever make a white iphone 3?

Can't tell anything from the pic, worthless.

Agreed....and Engadget editors wonder why they had to lock their comments down? They post way too much generic Apple shit. Still not as bad as Gizmodo of course.

Anyway, I don't expect the iPhone to be that much different in terms of hardware. I am curious to see what iPhone OS 4.0 will bring though.

There is indeed a white version of the iPhone 3GS.

It depends, but when the iPhone comes to Verizon I might get one. But there is plenty of time for announcements, leaks, and rumors...

I think Engadget got bogged down by a couple of things, the 4chan type of response, and boiler room type stock traders, take a gander in Yahoo Finance's Apple forum, they've had repeated SEC complaints over what people are posting there, Apple stock is very easy to manipulate, and if you make money on the way down as well as the way up, there's significant motivation to spread rumors, slam products, etc...

The tech sites aren't as quick or as likely to generate any investigations as the financial forums.

I'm NOT saying the iPad is the be all and end all of tablets by any stretch, I do think tablets and tech have a long ways to go to meet the expectations of the techno nerds that we all are.

The 3G came in both white & black, but if you wanted white, you had to get a 16GB model.

Whats going to be new about it. Might be getting an iPhone around July.

With any luck, it might be able to make a phone call, and have the functionality of an 8yr old phone....but then again, we are talking about Apple so don't hold your breath.

WOW something that looks EXACTLY the same as what it already does. For all we know someone just took a blurrycam pic of a current iphone.

My thoughts exactly. The 3G and 3GS looks identical, so why would anybody expect the 4th one to look any different? You can't tell shit from that picture.

yeah, BFD. it's another iPhone.

I'd be that it 1.) still won't multitask, 2.) will only support a single exchange account (without jailbreaking and MultiExchange) 3.) will still require iTunes to sync music 4.) will be on AT&T's craptastic network.

Yawn.

I NEVER would've identified that as an iPhone. It looks like an iPhone mated with a Palm Pre.

The proportions are all wrong to be an iPhone, although I can't tell if that's due to the picture being stretched or some weird visual distortion with the camera.
