Blurry Screen

JD50

Lifer
I just built a new rig about a month ago, the video card is a 7800gt and my monitor is a samsung 990df. The bottom left corner of my screen is kinda blurry in windows, then when I play world of warcraft its very blurry. I have messed around with resolution, refresh rate, and degaussing. Any idea what the problem could be?

Hrm sounds like a problem with the monitor itself.. I cant think of any adjustments that would reduce that kind of symptom , you could try maybe adjusting the Convergence.. When convergence is out of wack it will cause fuzzy / blurry looking text but im not sure if that model even has Convergence adjustments ,if it does you would want to adjust it using a convergence test pattern, this monitor test program is pretty good and has various tests:

The pattern is basicly a grid with red / green / blue lines ...idealy you want all the lines connecting to each other and not seperated:

example of acceptable convergence: pic
