Just rigged up my new Viewsonic p90f monitor and to my big dissapointment I discovered that the monitor became a little blurry under high resolutions(1024*768 and above) under max(and almost max) refresh rate. Is it supposed to be like this or are my eyes just bad?:p Anyway, it is driving me crazy, so are there any way to fix this?

Ps: may it be the gpu? I am currently running on a gf2 ti card from Asus.

It's quite likely your video card. When I went from nvidia to ati, the difference was night and day how much sharper everything was. I'm back with nvidia again on a ti4200 and I notice it's a bit blurry again compared to my old Radeon.

Most monitors do get blurry at higher resolutions though. It may also depend on the refresh rate. I've had monitors that were blurry at 90Hz, but crisp at 85Hz at the same resolution.

I don't know that I've ever seen a difference between ATI and Nvidia, but Matrox cards, I have seen a increase in sharpness even on old ones. I own a GeForce 4 ti4200 and a GeForce 2 ti, and both look sharp as can be, on my compaq fs740, sometimes you'd be amazed what a flatCRT can do for ur display qualkity, im not sure if that is a flat one or not, is it new or used? try a different computer or something too, just to check, if there is something wrong with it, viewsonic is generally pretty good about getting u a new one as far as i know.

The problem is probably in your video card. If you can afford it, check out one of the newer (Radeon 8500, 9000, 9500, or 9700, depending on your budget) ATI cards.
