Running WinXP Pro SP1 with Detonator 40.72, A7N8X, Gainward TI4200 128M, with NEC FE1250+.

Problem: Only able to run clean/sharp text resolution in 75Hz refresh rate. Resolution is 1280x1024. Running it with 85Hz makes it blurry.
With 100Hz, it's even worse.

At 1600x1200, it's really really BAD!

Is the problem with the Gainward TI4200 or with the monitor?
I don't have spare VGA or Monitor to try, so it's hard to tell.

The TI4200 is almost one year old and the monitor is brand new.

It sounds like a monitor problem - many lower end monitors with high pixel clocks get blurry at higher refresh rates (making it a tradeoff), but perhaps you just got a crummy RAMDAC in your Gainward card. But this is supposed to be a great monitor, so I think it could be the GF4 causing the problem. How is the Gainward on other monitors at those resolutions?

Well... that's the thing, the other monitor is samsung 753DF... maxed at 1024x768 at 85Hz... very sharp! (or I should say, same sharpness as FE1250+)

So confusing...
