Something really odd just happened and I'm not sure how to fix it.

I began playing Deus Ex via Gametap, but everything in it was slightly screwed. Well, the textures were. After I exited the game, I noticed my text on my desktop and in my browser has become really blurry. I thought it was just a hiccup, so I restarted my PC, but this seems to have done nothing.

Games and images are still fine. No blurriness there, it's just text on my desktop.

Any ideas?
 
I think I may have figured out why. Somehow it seems DX told my monitor to run itself at 1280x1024. So, though the desktop is in 1440x900, the monitor seems to be forcing itself into a different resolution. I have not yet figured out how to correct this.
